OMRI Listed Allganic Nitrogen Plus 15-0-2
For those of you who might have missed it, we have a new Chilean nitrate to offer you.
In the words of our Chilean Nitrate supplier:
"... our new OMRI Listed Allganic Nitrogen Plus 15-0-2...is a homogenous blend of 95% sodium nitrate and 5% potassium sulfate. image
The great part about this product is that it is NOT classified as oxidizer, so it does not ship/store as Hazmat, which should save you on freight and handling costs.
The physical characteristics, such as solubility, are the same as the 16-0-0 product, and it is still 100% nitrate-nitrogen from Chile, so you can expect the same high quality prills you’re accustomed to.
We have this 15-0-2 product available now...and will phase out the 16-0-0 product and are moving completely towards this new and improved 15-0-2 going forward."
Send us your quote request along with your zip code & the amount of product you need. Thanks!

Calphos and Potassium Sulfate
Looks like it is going to be an early Spring!
Our source for the Florida soft rock phosphate (Calphos) has notified us that while orders are coming in quickly due to the warmer weather, they still have some spots to fill for the months of March & April to ship your order.
Potassium sulfate, both ag gran standard & organic is available in bulk or bulk bags. Ask us about getting your potassium sulfate blended with the trace minerals you choose upon your request.
Just let us know how much you need & whether bulk or bag, etc. Please include a zip code to where you would like it delivered and the type of truck you prefer.
GOOD NEWS--Florida Soft Rock Phosphate (Calphos)
Our source for the Florida soft rock phosphate (Calphos) has had a lot of difficulties keeping up with the demand this past year due to weather, but they have informed me that at the moment they can process orders with very little lead time.
They are not so sure they can promise the same come Springtime, so if you were thinking of ordering some of that wonderful Florida soft rock from Calphos, please let me know & I will get you a delivered price. Just let me know how much you need & whether bulk or bag, powder or granular. Please include a zip code to where you would like it delivered and whether you need an end dump or hopper bottom trailer load.

New Chilean Nitrate
Our supplier Chilean Nitrate has sent us the following:
We would like to inform you that we have developed a new OMRI listed sodium nitrate-based product: Allganic Nitrogen Plus 15-0-2. It is a homogenous blend of 95% sodium nitrate and 5% potassium sulfate.
The great part about this product is that it is NOT classified as oxidizer, so it does not ship/store as Hazmat, which should save you on freight and handling costs.
The physical characteristics, such as solubility, are the same as the 16-0-0 Chilean nitrate product, and is still 100% nitrate-nitrogen from Chile, so you can expect the same high quality prills you're accustomed to.
We have this 15-0-2 product available now, but supply will be limited in the first half of 2017. Please bear with us as we build up our inventories.
We will have both the 16-0-0 and 15-0-2 available for most of 2017, but are intending on phasing out the 16-0-0 product and moving completely towards this new and improved 15-0-2 going forward.
For direct distribution, i.e. use of the 15-0-2 directly in the field, no extra steps or special requirements are needed. It's an allowed organic input that your organic farmer customers can just show their organic certifiers the OMRI certificate.
May the coming year be prosperous & peaceful to you and your families. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2017!
For those of you who are familiar with and use the organic input Sodium Nitrate (16-0-0) aka Chilean nitrate we would like to inform you of a new alternative soon to be offered from the same source: OMRI certified sodium nitrate + potassium sulfate in a prilled ag grade. It is a 15-0-2 and will be available in bulk bags as well as 50 lb bags. One of the many pluses about this product is that it is not considered a hazmat (like the 16-0-0) therefore freight will be considerably less! This should be available for the coming 2017 Spring growing season if you are interested ask for a quote.
Of course if you prefer the 16-0-0 we have that available right now in bulk bags & 50’s. Let us know how much you need along with your zip code and we will get you a delivered price.
We were hoping to have more news on the new source of soft rock phosphate but they are trying to work out a few delays so I will keep you posted as soon as it is available. It will be granular and comparable to the other soft rock out of Florida in bulk, bulk bags & 50’s.
They will also have rail siding so shipping it by railcar will definitely be an option. They are near a port so that is also an option. If you are interested and have a rail line and address, send me your information for a rail quote. Get your requests in now.
We continue to offer potassium sulfate at a very good price, both organic & standard ag granular as well as turf grades, greenhouse grades etc.
Please let me know how I can help you get what you need.
Fall has arrived and you may be considering soil amendments to prepare your soil for the coming Spring season. If so, please consider some of the products we have to offer to help improve your soil.
Liquid Fish both high phos (2-5-0.2) and a high nitrogen (5-1-1) all natural OMRI certified products.
Water Soluble Potassium Sulfate
Water Soluble Potassium Sulfate price decrease across the board. We also offer a bulk ag granular SOP and organic SOP aka Potassium Sulfate at a lower than ever price.
A compost blended with grass, brush, yard and leaf debris. We have the ability to bulk transfer 30-40 cubic yards of compost from 2 locations in MN by end dumps or walking floor trailers. Also available in super sacks that contain 2 cu. yards each which weighs about 2200 lbs.
Chilean Nitrate (16-0-0) is an organic OMRI approved natural source of nitrogen. Chicken Manure
Various sources of Chicken Manure, both pelletized and composted, or just plain 'ol dried chicken poop.
Soft Rock Phosphate
New source of Florida Soft Rock Phosphate available in late October will be available in a granular format. Idaho Soft Rock Phosphate is rich in carbons or humates and comes in a powder form. Soft Rock Phosphate can be an excellent way to improve your soil.
Liquid and Dry Fertilizers
We also have new sources of nitrogen liquid fertilizers in the South & East so check with us for UAN and other blends, as well as dry products such as Potash, MAP, KMAG, Ammonium Sulfate, Urea, etc. from OH on down into FL.

Enjoy the fall season,
Fall is almost upon us, I do hope you've had a great summertime. Here is a brief update on a couple of topics:
Summer Sale on 55-gallon drums, 275-gallon totes and bulk 2-5-0.2 high phosphate liquid fish. 15% Discount on your regular price for shipments before September 15th, 2016--Discount expires September 15th, 2016.
As I mentioned in a previous update, there has been a significant drop in the price of potassium sulfate (0-0-50). Here is a very helpful article written by Jon Frank explaining the advantages of using potassium sulfate which you may not have seen before.
Ask me for a delivered price to your zip code. Please specify the type of truck you can receive loads in and whether you need bagged or bulk.
Bulk Potassium Sulfate (0-0-50)
Florida Soft Rock
Good Compost in MN
High Phosphate Liquid Fish 2-5-0.2
There is a significant price drop in bulk Potassium Sulfate (0-0-50) as of July 1st 2016. Ask me for a delivered price to your zip code. Please specify the type of truck you can receive loads in. This is for bulk truckload quantities.
Florida Soft Rock is becoming more readily available. If you need some for the coming Fall season, ask for a quote now.
Plus, we now have a source of good compost available in MN from a local supplier that creates compost from products recovered from food waste. They mix these nitrogen sources with a variety of carbon sources - mainly yard debris.
Acting as a natural fertilizer, compost supplies a variety of macro and micronutrients, improves the structure, porosity, and density of soils, increases infiltration, permeability and water holding capacity--thereby reducing erosion and runoff.
Here is the Ag Labs analysis:
22 lbs/ton of Nitrogen
56 lbs/ton of Phosphate
18 lbs/ton of Potash
This could be especially recommended ahead of a corn crop. You can use about 2-3 ton/acre. It is rich in immediately available potassium with a lot of extra carbon; also contains moderate amounts of phosphorous, calcium & magnesium.
The price is pretty good too. Give us a call or send us your zip code for a delivered price. This is available in bulk truck loads in either end dumps or walking floors.
Our supplier of 2-5-0.2 High Phosphate Liquid Fish is offering a summer discount of 15% on your order if you get it shipped before September 15, 2016. This would cover your freight in most cases!
Beat the Fall rush & order now, you will save on freight.
Pelletized Gypsum + Humic Acid
Our supplier of pelletized gypsum had a recent fire & this is causing some delays in orders. For those of you who may be interested, he mentioned that they will be selling another calcium product they have at the same price as pelletized gypsum to offset the present lack of enough standard pelletized gypsum.
It is a blend of gypsum & humic acid. It is a good product, OMRI approved & is pelletized. I must say it is a bit dustier than the regular pelletized gypsum & only spreads in @ a 60 ft. radius. Here is the analysis:
Guaranteed Chemical Analysis
Calcium (Ca) 18.5%
Sulfur (S) 14.5%
Humic Acid 10%
If you can use the extra humic acid, we think it is a great deal. Cost of this product averages @ $70/ton more than the regular pelletized gypsum but it is available now & at the same price, i.e. @ $180/ton FOB Ft. Dodge, IA for bulk. It is also available in totes & 50# bags. Let me know how much you need & I can get you a delivered price. There is a limited supply of this product.
In order to reduce the pressure they are under to meet present demand, their insurance company has made it possible for them to sell this product at the same price you would pay for the pelletized gypsum, only you would not have to wait 3 weeks to get your order, this product is ready to ship. BTW, here is the analysis of the standard OMRI pelletized gypsum:
Chemical Analysis Standard Pelletized Gypsum
Calcium Sulfate Dihydrate 92%
Binder (lignosulfates) 2%
Let me know if you want to consider this.
I just heard from our supplier that they found another 105 ton in totes of Carbonized Lime. This is an excellent product, however due to production line issues, it is being discontinued for now and it is available at a reduced price to clear the floor.
- 105 pallets of 1 ton totes
- $130/ton FOB Aplington, IA for truckload quantities
Organic Dehydrated Chicken Manure
here is also still a limited supply of Organic Dehydrated Chicken Manure from Colorado, around 200 ton. Although this product is not pelletized or composted, it is from chickens fed organic grains & has an excellent analysis. It is very dry & can be spread with a manure spreader.
- Analysis: 5-2-2
- Bulk truckload cost: $130/ton FOB Montrose, CO 81401 (price is negotiable depending on the quantity)
Contact us for a delivered price, be sure to include the approximate date you will be needing delivery.
Have a wonderful time of Thanksgiving!
Here is hoping your Spring planting has gone well & that your crops are off to a good start!
For those of you looking for potassium sulfate, the ag grade is available out of Morris, IL at $800/ton FOB.
For those of you looking for organic potassium sulfate, it is also available at $900/ton FOB Morris, IL as well.
Have a great growing season!
6 Loads Potassium Sulfate Available
As you know, potassium sulfate aka sulfate of potash, (0-0-50) has been very tight of late. We happen to have a few loads available first come, first served in the following locations:
There are two loads of Ag Granular SOP (non-organic) in Tomah WI for $870/ton FOB for ship in next two weeks.
There are 4 loads of Ag Granular SOP FOB Morris Illinois March ship $840/ton FOB.
Let me know if you are interested. They would be 25 ton truckloads prepaid to International Ag Labs. Trust me this stuff goes fast!
Ask me for the details on how to place an order.
We have a few things to update you on which should be helpful as you do your Spring planning.
Granular SOP or Potassium Sulfate
Granular SOP or potassium sulfate is still very tight but we can have it shipped from overseas if you need it soon, it would take a month or so to get it delivered to you. From what I have seen the prices are competitive to the last FOB price I had on the few truckloads I happened across at around $900/ton FOB. I am told this product will be tight until somewhere mid 2015, so you may prefer to wait until then.
We realize that you do not want to pay those high prices and we have been trying to come up with alternative sources of needed inputs at more reasonable prices. Have you considered chicken manure? We have a couple more sources if you are interested.
The first new source is out of OH & there are about 2,000 tons available at the moment. It will be first come first served at the going price of $70/ton prepaid for truckload quantities. If you wish to place a larger order we can discuss a lower price, say $60/ton. The analysis on this is N-2.61, P-2.43 & K-2.79. The manure has a blend of sawdust and shavings, mostly hardwoods. We would like to move this product as soon as possible & it basically sells as is. It is a slightly aged manure with about a 10-20 wk turnover. On the average, what is available now is about 15 weeks old. If you prefer more aged manure just purchase it now & let it age a year or so at your convenience. The price is nice! Let us know how much you want.
The other source is out of DE, it is a composted blend of chicken manure with OMRI certification, you can choose the percentage of manure to compost & it will be available in bags & totes as well as bulk. We don’t have a price on that quite yet but it will be a lot better than $900/ton so please check with us about it. Specify the quantity you need as well as if you need it bagged or in bulk semi loads.
Liquid Fish 5-1-1
We also wanted to let you know that 5-1-1 liquid fish is available again, at a considerably higher price in bulk of around $1,000/ton FOB Moss Point, MS. It still sells out before Spring so let us know if you are planning to order & we can give you a delivered price in gallons. It is also available in 220 gallon totes.
Another product that should be ordered soon is Chilean nitrate as it tends to sell out before too long. With freight prices low, now is a great time to place your orders!
Please remember all orders are prepaid to International Ag Labs.
That's all for now! Spring will soon be cheering us all up after a long cold winter, so hang in there!
For those of you who have been asking when ag granular potassium sulfate will be available again, we have news...
Although we just heard from one of our major suppliers that their ag gran SOP will not be available til mid 2015 at the earliest, they are willing to offer an alternative that may appeal to some of you to satisfy your soil's need for a chlorine free potassium: 12-0-46 (prilled Potassium Nitrate) at a considerably lower than normal price.
This is a great product for spring application. Fall application could lose some/most of the nitrogen however.
We can offer this 12-0-46 (prilled Potassium Nitrate) currently at $800/ton FOB for remainder of 2014. The price will go up to about $855/ton FOB after the first of year. We have several locations we can pull from so let us know your zip code & how much you are looking for & we will try to give you a delivered price.
Please note it is haz-mat.
Our other supplier of ag gran SOP (0-0-50) was hoping to have product available in January 2015 for those of you who prefer to wait, but they are currently on allocation mode & do not have enough product, so that January date is a little "iffy" if you ask me!

- $805/ton bulk FOB, prepaid for truckload quantities
- $845/ton bulk totes FOB, prepaid for truckload quantities
This product is 140 SGN and while it is suitable for blends or direct application, it is not your regular ag granular SOP which is more like 350 SGN.
A shipment of ag granular SOP should be arriving mid month but from what I can tell, the prices will be significantly higher & the supply short.
Good News Regarding Potassium Sulfate 0-0-50 Availability!
I can gladly say there is now some available so if you are interested let me know.
- There is a limited supply of SOP in totes FOB Ft. Madison, IA at $797/ton prepaid

Earlier is Better!
When it comes to getting your fertilizers for the Fall or Spring season, earlier is certainly better. For those of you interested in Florida soft rock phosphate, you probably are aware of the huge backlog and delays we had due to the bad weather down in Florida earlier this year.
Well, the good news is that right now you can get bulk granular soft rock from Florida with no delays! It is ready and waiting for you! We can’t guarantee it will be that way for much longer as the Fall season is upon us and things tend to get busier. If you are thinking of making an order, earlier is better!
Our main supplier of pelletized gypsum and lime has a new product that provides the benefits of humic substances with a soluble source of calcium and sulfur in one homogenous pellet. SuperCal Humic blends 15% humic substances (Leonardite) with 85% SuperCal SO4, humic acids and complex carbohydrates. This is available in bulk at $360/ton FOB Gilmore City, IA.
Also we have a limited offer of Carbonized lime. For as long as it lasts it is available FOB Aplington, IA in 1 ton totes (92 available): $250 /tote prepaid, truckload quantities. 50# bags in 1 ton pallets (90 available): $270/ton. These are for truckload quantities.
Thanks, enjoy the beautiful Fall season!
We have about 7,000 US tons of hard rock phosphate available for anyone that may be interested. It has a moisture content of around 13.5% and when it is dried it has a phosphate content around 30% with a similar amount of calcium.
This would be useful to grind and mix into methane digesters or to mix into compost operations. You can also make single super phosphate if you have a supply of sulfuric acid.
Direct field application should only be done on very acidic soil.
Your cost is $45/ton FOB Port Sutton in Tampa, FL. CLICK HERE to view some pictures along with the analysis for your information.
Let us know if you would like a delivered price in bulk only, specify if you can receive a bulk hopper bottom or if you need a bulk end dump. Truck-load quantities only. First come first served.
It was April 29th and 38° as I drove into work. By this time 20% of the corn has been planted in our county. It was cold and rainy. While the rain is welcome the cold is another story.
Cold soil temperatures have a direct impact on the availability of phosphorus in soil. The cooler the soil, the more phosphorus is tied up. This tie-up of phosphorus directly impacts the health of emerging seedlings. Tied up phosphorus in soil means the plant will likewise be deficient in phosphorus.
Get it while it lasts, it may go fast!
A great new beginning a & Happy New Year to you all!
We just wanted to write a brief note to inform you that the price of potassium sulfate has gone down considerably since the beginning of the year & it may just be the time to stock up on it.
If you know of someone that wants granular SOP out of Morris, IL please tell them to get their orders in asap. I was told the price is going up. Rail cars are on their way to Morris & should be there the week of Feb.1st. I was just told it will be short this year.
At present I am quoting prices at around $100/ton less than last year, and that is nothing to sneeze at. It is always good to take advantage of the price fluctuations but they don’t last long.
I apologize for the communications problems I have had of late, I think the problem with the equipment has been worked out & I am up & running again. Thank you for your patience.

1) Pelletized Gypsum
OMRI listed pelletized gypsum is available again at a discount price.
2) Organic Potassium Sulfate
We still have a couple of truckloads of the organic potassium sulfate in totes FOB Charleston, SC at $665/ton.
3) Soluble Potassium Sulfate Fines
There are also 50 to 60 ton of bulk soluble potassium sulfate fines available in Lebanon PA. FOB $670.
4) Liquid Fish
At present the truckload price for the liquid fish is $3.51/gal FOB Moss Pt. MS. This does not include freight. I am not sure if they will have a price increase for the coming year, that remains to be seen. The product they have on hand is already spoken for & they do not start producing again until mid April.
That said, they still might be able to ship some tonnage that still remains in inventory for March. The supplier explained that what happens is some of their current contracts may cancel out thereby leaving product available that is currently tied up. This is just a possibility but nothing concrete. If you are still interested please check availability in Feb. 2013.
I will be spending time with family & friends from Dec. 22nd until January 2nd. During that time I also hope to catch up on the backlog of quotes that I still have pending. In the meantime may you have a wonderful Christmas season & and a blessed New Year!
1) Chilean Nitrate - Good News
NOP Notice Regarding Sodium Nitrate (aka Chilean nitrate)... from OMRI. In brief:
"On October 21, 2012, there will be a change to the status of sodium nitrate used in organic production. On September 12, 2012, the National Organic Program (NOP) issued a notice to the organic industry regarding the use of sodium nitrate (also known as Chilean nitrate) in organic crop production."
"The expiration of the current notation will effectively mean that sodium nitrate may be used in organic crop production without a specific restriction on the amount used: however, producers must continue to comply with all requirements of the soil fertility and crop nutrient management practice standard."
"Pending additional rule-making, the use of sodium nitrate shall follow these stipulations: Before October 21, 2012, operations shall not meet more than 20 percent of an organic crop's nitrogen requirement with sodium nitrate. Beginning October 21, 2012, operators using sodium nitrate shall use it in a manner that maintains or improves the natural resources of the operation, including soil and water quality, and comply with crop nutrient and soil fertility requirements. A proposed rule regarding the use of sodium nitrate is forthcoming. (NOP Notice 12-1)"
You may view the complete notice here: http://www.ams.usda.gov/AMSv1.0/getfile?dDocName=STELPRDC5100372
2) Chilean Nitrate Price Increase
Continuing on the subject of Chilean nitrate, please note that there is strong possibility of $20 per ton price increase around Jan 1 or so. Our supplier has maintained the current price for over 2 years. Inventories are low at present but will start to be replenished in November. All warehouses will be loaded by sometime in January. It would be a good time to order your Chilean nitrate sometime soon before the possible January price hike.
3) 5-1-1 Liquid Fish
High nitrogen 5-1-1 LIQUID FISH is an excellent natural product that is available now, however, IF YOU WAIT TIL SPRING IT IS USUALLY SOLD OUT BY THEN. Now is a good time to place your orders. It is an excellent slow release nitrogen source--nothing fishy about that!
4) Pelleted Gypsum
Pelleted Gypsum from our regular supplier is unavailable from now until some time in November, due to high demand. The good news is that by December 2012, they should have completed their new production plant in Ft. Dodge, IA which will enable them to double their capacity & thereby keep up with demand at least for a while.
Name Your Price - Food-grade Jamaican Molasses
Here is an interesting opportunity that doesn't come along every day.
A tanker load of food-grade Jamaican molasses has been "contaminated" by hydraulic oil. The amount is miniscule at roughly 8 ppm. While not suitable for human consumption it is quite usable for field application.
Craig Hanson with The Benedict Company is desparately trying to find a home for 17 truckloads and has asked you to name your delivered price.
Please contact Craig directly if you are interested in submitting an offer. Just to be clear www.fertilizerbrokerage.com and International Ag Labs do not have anything to do with this transaction nor will it benefit us monetarily. We are merely making this offer known to our brokerage list.
Since we are coming up on fall here is my best suggestion on how to use the molasses. Apply a residue spray on corn stalk stubble in your field with the following formula:
10 gallons of 28 or 32% UAN solution
2 gallons of liquid Thio-Sul 12-0-0-26S
3 gallons of liquid molasses
2 quarts of Z-Hume
For Soybean residue reduce the liquid nitrogen to 5 gallons and the Thio-Sul to 1 gallon and replace with water. Spray on residue and work it immediately to come in contact with the soil. To purchase Z-Hume, a microbial innoculant with bacterial specialized in residue digestion, please contact International Ag Labs at 507-235-6909.

Subject: Molasses in Jamaica - 20857
We are trying to find a home for 35
Here is a summary of what we know about this molasses:
The molasses is on a vessel off port in Jamaica. The molasses has been contaminated by hydraulic oil. The oil/molasses is approximately 8 PPM. Approximately 200 litres leaked into approximately 460 Metric Tons of molasses. This is a relatively miniscule amount. Additionally, the oil likely came from a leaking pump and was mostly at, or close to, the tank surface. Majority of this oil will have remained on the surface as the leaking line was above the surface. There are approximately 350 tons still on board.
Here are the test reports and record of analysis:
If you could use this in your feed products, please let me know what you would be able to offer on a "delivered" basis?
Thank you for taking a look at this. Please let us know your thoughts regarding the value of this molasses.

Potassium Sulfate Alert
International Ag Labs warehouse has several truckloads of a high grade of potassium sulfate. This product is extremely pure and has an analysis of 0-0-54. We have an excellent price on this but it will only benefite those that move quickly.
Here is the certificate of analysis with a picture of the product. Please note that this is not granular. It is crystlline but spreads well.
0-0-50 Potassium Sulfate Price Increase October 1st
The price on 0-0-50 Potassium Sulfate will be going up on October 1st , so if you are thinking of ordering, now would be the time, don’t delay.
5-1-1 Liquid Fish, Good News!

Organic Composted Chicken Manure
One of our suppliers in IL is offering a “low odor” composted chicken manure that is naturally high in calcium. The calcium will help flocculate soils and create a better environment for enhanced root development. The analysis of available NPK is at the rate of 2-4-3. Healthy soils are the key to producing high yields and this organic composted chicken manure provides the nutrients and organic matter to help improve soil tilth. It really is a great way to reintroduce biologically active organic matter into the soil!
It is OMRI Certified and a pretty easy product to spread with a relatively low odor compared to other manures. What are you waiting for? Give us a call or email us today for a delivered price!
1. Timely news
Several of our suppliers have informed us that they will be raising prices beginning on August 1st. Pell-lime & gypsum as well as granular SRP will all be going up then.
2. Saving Tip - Here is an interesting tip we received recently:
"As many of you know sulfur continues to be the new hot nutrient. While I have heard rumors of more AMS being produced, foreign outlets are offering higher prices than domestic outlets. I don't foresee that there will be enough AMS to cover domestic needs as some of the US product will go overseas."
"With AMS priced much higher than SuperCal SO4 (pelletized gypsum), many have found that blending it with Urea gets them the same nutrient percentages with much better margins."
With the usual high demand for nutrients in the Fall, we suggest you not wait until then to place your orders. If you can fill your bins early, you'll get a nice discount by ordering before these price increases go into effect in just a couple of weeks. Call or email us now for a price quote to your location.

Limited-Time Offer on Dried Chicken Manure out of Illinois / Flooding Will Affect Lime Supply to Certain Areas
For those of you who may be interested, we have a limited-time offer on dried chicken manure out of Illinois. It has been dehydrated to about 20% moisture content. It is not composted or pelletized, just the raw original end results from all those chickens. It is chunky & fluffy & as you may well know, stinks to high heaven. But it is a great natural fertilizer with a high nutrient value! The analysis is around 4-4-4 with at least 8% calcium. The FOB price will be at less than half the normal cost--this dehydrated chicken manure is priced to sell! Give us a call or shoot us an email & we’ll give you a delivered price to your location.
This offer is only good from now until the end of August or as long as the product is available. At present there are only 800 tons of it so get it before it’s a gonner!
On another subject, one of our suppliers recently mentioned how the Missouri River flooding will affect the lime supply to certain areas.
As they so aptly stated:
"Our thoughts are with those affected by the Missouri River flooding. Not just with the farmers that will be unable to harvest a crop this year, but also with the residents of the area. Most buildings in the flood area will have to be demolished after sitting in flood waters for 3+ months.
The river flood will likely impact agriculture throughout the Midwest as barge, train and truck traffic will be interrupted possibly though September.
Since it seems apparent that there could be a very real shortage of lime in Nebraska and Western Iowa it would be wise to book your product early."
And that goes for any other fertilizer you may be considering for the fall. Why not avoid the rush & high price of freight in the Fall, I am pretty sure prices are better now than they will be in the Fall.
Have a great summer!
Freight prices are definitely on the rise and stand to rise even more this Spring. Order now and save on freight.
If you purchase Pelletized Lime and Gypsum before April, you will save a few dollars/ton.

We recently got word from our supplier of carbonized lime (Trio, Triplicity) that have 100-150 tons bulk carbonized lime on the floor that they need to move within the next 30 days or so. They will be offering it for a significantly reduced price of approximately $30/ton less.

If you have been observing the markets, you probably have more than an inkling that prices are about to head up even more. With the decline in the purchasing power of the dollar, it takes more dollars to purchase the same quantities of the products you have purchased in the past. In that light, it may be a good idea to do your purchasing in the early fall rather than next spring this time around as prices will most likely be higher by then.
I can say for sure that some prices will go up even in November so it seems that sooner rather than later is the way to go this coming season. As we speak, some products are unavailable until November when they will most likely reappear at a higher price.
Good News -- Pelletized Lime and Gypsum are now being offered at a discount through the months of July and August.

For those of you who are interested in 5-1-1 Liquid Fish, please take note. Fish used in the production of the 5-1-1 is taken from the Gulf and due to the oil spill, fishing has been greatly affected. We have seen a price increase of approx. 0.50 cents/gallon to date.
You have probably noticed that most fertilizer prices are creeping up again. One bright spot of news on that horizon is that there has been a recent decline in the price of 0-0-50 Potassium Sulfate of over 10%! This translates into nearly a $100 drop in the price per ton cost of that fertilizer to you.
If you prefer, you may prepay this now for spring delivery. The only variation would be in the cost of freight which is something we would have to price at the time of delivery.
I have received news that the price of 0-0-50 will probably go up again after April 1st. Good reason to get your orders in before then.
Prices on MAP, UAN and AMS seem to have bottomed out and are beginning to rise again. We've also learned that prices will increase for the Pelleted Gypsum and Lime beginning in the new year as well.
Pelleted Chicken Manure is hard to come by in the months of March and April due to high demand. The regular daily production is already spoken for during those months.
However, there is a considerable amount on hand as we speak, making now through mid-February the best time to buy if you expect to have some to use in the Spring.

The analysis is 4-3-2 11% Ca -- this is a pretty significant calcium source. It's available by bulk semiload at present, and in the future it may be available in tote bags.
