I hope you're having a great summer! As fall approaches, I wanted to share some thoughts and ideas that might help you navigate tight margins this season:

Cost-Effective Alternatives

• Pelletized Gypsum (SO₄): A smart alternative as AMS/SOP costs continue to rise.
  Pelletized Lime: Optimize soil pH to unlock the potential of existing nutrients, reducing the need for expensive phosphorus applications.

A Smart Phosphorus Choice: Soft Rock Phosphate

Consider swapping or combining pricey MAP with Soft Rock Phosphate—a biology-friendly soil amendment packed with micronutrients to boost soil health and crop quality. (We don´t broker DAP due to its detrimental impact on soil biology.)

→ Best part: It costs significantly less!

Quick Potassium Sulfate (SOP) Update

Our SOP supply is very limited this fall and will likely stay tight through Spring 2026. Prices did rise recently, and we don't expect further increases this year.

Freight Opportunity

Take advantage of the lower freight rates before we get into Fall, rates usually climb as Fall progresses.
